Welcome to the Department of Anaesthesiology, Pain medicine and Intensive Care at The Medicity Hospital. The department is committed to place the interests of the patients as its paramount concern. Our work is just not confined to the state of art-ultra modern 5 Operation Theatres (OTs), but also beyond it. It extends from the Pre-anaesthesia clinics (PAC), intra-operative care, Post Anaesthesia Care Units (PACU) and 20 bedded Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) where patients are closely monitored by our team. We provide clinical anaesthesia services and critical care management of surgical patients 24 hours a day. The surgical specialities to which the department provides anaesthesia services are general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetric and gynaecology, E.N.T., paediatric surgery, urology, gastroenterology, cardiac surgery, onco-surgery and neurosurgery.
